Bungalow Bustlings - Saturday

 Breakfast

My, what a hard life they lead!

Fill it up at night, drink it down the next day.  Or, that's my as of yet unmet goal because I keep forgetting it's in the fridge & use the dispenser!

"I want to be where you are!"

He is not used to being the one on the ground!

She's found herself a new hidey-hole . . . which Josie has also recently discovered & so let's her have little rest!

My attempt at blueberry waffles . . .

which apparently needed more butter on the plates!

My subsequent attempt at pancakes.  Needless to say, I gave up after the next one burned.  I was sooo off today, culinarily speaking!

So, we ate burgers & then reclined on our porch.  I love these little trees!

I ended up with the song in my head for the rest of the night!  You're singing it now, too, aren't you?  ;-)

 My BFF

Homey & happy

  1. Do you put oil in your waffle batter? I agree with you...more butter or spray...especially when you are using blueberries. :-)

    Also...you need a new BFF! ;-)

  2. This is the first time that I've used the waffle maker since we stopped using cooking spray. I just put a pad of butter in each side of the bottom plates, thinking that would take care of the top plates, too. That's what I get for thinking!

You are so right! A new BFF is definitely in order!

  3. Maybe try to grease your plates (top and bottom) with butter before you plug in the plates...that might work.

  4. That's bound to work better than what I did! ;-)
